Baahubali makes record in VFX

Rajamouli’s standards in movie making are hard to fathom actually. The star director breaks his record for his next upcoming movie, period drama starring Young Rebel star Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamannaah!

The number of VFX shots he is adding in Baahubali will be highest by far beating even the likes of his own venture Eega!

While for Eega movie the star director called for 2234 VFX shots Baahubali will be reportedly having close to 5000 Visual effects. Besides the movie’s VFX budget also becomes by far the highest for an Indian cinema beating Ra.One and Krrish 3. It is learnt that the Baahubali’s VFX budget alone is going to be around 80 crores and that is a very big number by any standards and the entire movie’s budget could be easily more than 130-140 crores.

It is learnt that the VFX team is creating incredible architectural settings and landscapes and also unbelievable real-like animals which will be used in fight sequences!

Anushka Shetty decides not to sign more films till April 2014

Post Singam II’s release Anushka Shetty has been continuously working on her Tamil as well as Telugu projects like Irandam Ulagam, Varna and Rudhramadevi with Baahubali in the pipeline for a 2014 release. Recently it has been heard that Anushka has decided not to sign any more films till she meets her previous commitments.

Anushka's spokesperson confirmed the reports saying, "Gunasekhar's Rudhramadevi and Rajamouli's Baahubali are both Tamil-Telugu bilinguals, and are being shot on a lavish budget. Because of the high production value and amount of set and CG work involved, the shooting of the two films will get over only by March-April next year.” “Anushka wants to concentrate on these films and give her best to them. So, she has decided not to take on any more films until she completes these,” the actress’s representative added. Presently the actress is busy filming an emotional sequence for Baahubali in Hyderabad.

Anushka Shetty Support's AIDS Awareness

Actress Anushka Shetty and her 'Singam' co-star Suriya have collaborated with TeachAIDS campaign, which aims to spread awareness about the disease among children. She says she wishes to follow the cause closely. "I'm not much into social service and have never been associated with any programme," said Anushka.
"One of the reasons I didn't get associated with any programme (yet is) because I usually don't follow it, but I wish to follow the AIDS awareness initiative religiously," added Anushka.
